TRAINING
Dr. Faramaz Shabdiz completed a five-year Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery residency at the USC (University of Southern California) specializing in surgery of the head and neck graduated with top honors. It was during his residency that Dr.Shabdiz developed his passion for facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Shabdiz completed an additional one-year research fellowship in Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. During This Fellowship he had extra training on Facial Cosmetic surgery, face and ear reconstructive surgery using cartilage graft. He also had extensive research on genetics of congenital ear anomalies in a very prestigious molecular biology lab in Harvard Medical School.
